Bill Gates asks Senate for infinite number of H-1B visas

Bill Gates testified to the Senate in order to lobby for more H-1B visas, more employment based green cards, and expedited procedures to allow foreign students to work and gain permanent residence status in the USA. Gates thinks that an infinite number of H-1B visas is appropriate and cites global competitiveness for the reason If he can’t get unlimited numbers of visas he is willing to settle for 300,000 new visas per year.
